Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University Admissions 2011

Siksha O Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT), a National Level Entrance Test is conducted by Siksha O Anusandhan University every year to attract young and bright students from different parts of our country. The test will be conducted for different programs offered in different constituent institutes of the University. SAAT-2011, the fourth edition of this entrance test and will be held on 14th May 2011 (Saturday) at 60 centers across 40 cities of India. The test is primarily an objective type written test and the standard of the test is comparable with any other national level entrance test of recognized university. The test is of Optical Mark Reader (OMR) type and all measures are adhered to maintain credibility of the selection process. This University has a special feature such as reservation for women besides SC&ST as per Government norms. Short listed candidates will be called to attend an open counseling for admission into various programs of the University. Another feature of this entrance  test  is that the candidates with diploma in engineering/ technology/ pharmacy and hotel management are eligible for admission into regular courses under lateral entry scheme.
Siksha O Anusandhan University has been declared a deemed to be University U/S 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 and is located at Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. There has been persistent endeavour to achieve excellence and carve  a niche in the national and global education map. Some of the constituent institutes have been  established for almost one and half decade and  well known for their academic excellence. This has been corroborated by the assessment of National Accreditation & Assessment Council (NAAC) peer team and the University has been awarded Grade ‘A’, for its overall performance. All the eligible programs have been accredited by National Board Accreditation (NBA), AICTE, Govt. of India. Different faculties of the University have been duly approved by the respective statutory bodies.
