Candidates must possess Ph.D. in the respective disciplines from reputed institutions in India or abroad with consistently good academic performance and relevant experience of normally 3 years. Selected candidates will be placed in one of the above mentioned positions, with appropriate Pay in Pay Band, depending upon their qualifications and experience. Candidates with Ph.D. and experience of less than 3 years or with M.E./M.Tech degrees and relevant experience may be considered for the post of Lecturers.
DA of the Institute is presently 35% of the Basic pay (Pay in Pay Band + Academic Grade Pay). Contributory Provident Fund @12% on the total emoluments is provided. TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. Upper age limit not exceeding 32 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates 05 years and OBC candidates 03 years as per Government of India instructions.

  2. The Application form will be provided at the venue on the date. However, candidate may download the application form in advance from the website www.nbri-lko.org. At the time of interview candidates should bring one latest photograph, attested copy of certificates of examinations passed (starting from matriculation), certificate indicating date of birth, caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC) and experience certificate, etc. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and 'result awaited' will not be considered. All eligible candidates are requested to be present at the venue on the said date 30 minutes before the scheduled time for necessary formalities.

  3. Mode of Selection: Through Interview. However, if large number of candidates turns up, a Screening test comprising of multiple choice objective questions will be held for short listing the candidates for interview. The short listed candidates will be interviewed by the Selection Committee and, based on the performance in the interview, a panel of recommended candidates will be formed. The panel shall be utilized as and when the requirement arises in the projects in the relevant field/area. Candidates have the option to interact in Hindi/English before the committee.

  4. The positions are purely temporary on contract basis and co- terminus with the sponsored projects. Further the above stipend(s) is tentative and the same will be finally decided based on the availability of funds in the relevant sponsored projects.

  5. To avoid any inconvenience, only those candidates who strictly fulfill the eligibility criteria  and possess the degree/mark sheet in the aforesaid subjects should turn up for floating interview

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: -
2(a) Candidates seeking admission to the Postgraduate M.Pharm.,Degree Courses should
be citizens of India and natives of Tamil Nadu.
(b)Candidates of Tamil Nadu Nativity who have completed B.Pharm., in other States
shall furnish a certificate of nativity in Tamil Nadu issued by a competent authority
only in the specified format annexed to the application form. However those who
have studied from 12th standard onwards and undergone their UG course for a
minimum period of 4 years in any one of the Government / Self-Financing
Institutions in Tamil Nadu need not furnish the Nativity Certificate but have to give
proof for their study period in Tamil Nadu and also furnish a declaration that they

are not claiming Nativity in any other State except in Tamil Nadu which is to be
signed by both the parent/guardian and the candidate.
(3) Admission to Postgraduate M.Pharm., Degree Course is open to both men and
women for both service and private candidates.
(4) Candidates should possess a B.Pharm., Degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu
Dr. MGR Medical University or any other University recognized as Equivalent
thereto by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University / Pharmacy Council.
Candidates who have qualified from other universities should obtain and produce an
Eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University at the
time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for selection.
(5) Candidates seeking admission to the Postgraduate M.Pharm., Degree course should
have obtained not less than 50% of the total aggregate marks obtained in all semester
subject marks taken together in the B.Pharm., Degree Course. In case of failure (s)
the pass marks in the subsequent (attempts) shall be taken for calculation purpose.
Number of attempts are not considered for calculation of marks.
(6) A candidate who has already completed or acquired a Postgraduate Degree in any
speciality in M.Pharm., course or is undergoing a Postgraduate course in any
speciality is ineligible to apply for any other speciality in M.Pharm., Degree course.
If a candidate has discontinued a course on any grounds after the cut off date fixed
by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University he/she is eligible to apply only
after two years from the date of discontinuation of the course.
(7) Securing admission to Postgraduate M.Pharm., degree course by suppression of facts
contravening the Regulation 5 above mentioned would be viewed seriously and the
candidate will be expelled from the Postgraduate M.Pharm., course he / she is
undergoing and the selection will be cancelled at any time.
(8) The following categories of B.Pharm., Graduates will be treated as Service candidates
for selection under the seats reserved exclusively for service candidates.
(i) B.Pharm., graduates serving in Tamil Nadu Medical Service on a regular basis and
who have completed two years of service as on 30-4-2010.
(ii) B.Pharm., graduates who are approved probationers serving in local bodies will be
considered as service candidates and must have completed 2 years of service as
on 30-4-2010.
(9) The following categories of B.Pharm., Graduates will be considered for selection
under open quota as non – service candidates only.
a) B.Pharm., graduates who are serving in Govt. of India institutions in Tamil Nadu /
Public Sector undertaking and organization under control of Government of India in
Tamil Nadu.
b) B.Pharm., Graduates who are serving purely under temporary category in
Tamil Nadu Medical Service / Local bodies.

c) Self employed B.Pharm., Graduates and B.Pharm., Graduates serving in Private
sector

7.  QIP for admissions to  masters and Ph Ds admissions for full time regular/permanent teachers from AICTE approved colleges; also under UGC Networking Centre for Chemical Engineering.
8.  BARC- Training School Master of Chemical Engineering programme is also available.

GATE/GPAT qualified students are admitted to Master’s courses with UGC/DBT fellowships. Ph D candidates will be admitted against available fellowships under SAP, other Govt. scholarships and sponsored projects, numbering more than 160. Forms along with prospectus will be available at ICT from 21st April, 2010. Last dates of submission at ICT:  For Undergraduates (AIEEE quota): June 15, 2010 and for Master’s and doctoral degrees: May 21, 2010 (see website www.ictmumbai.edu.in; www.udct.org). Students appearing for the qualifying examinations for the academic year 2009-10 and whose results are awaited may also apply by this date. Dates for various entrance examinations for Masters and Ph D admissions will be displayed on the website.

Accordingly, Osmania University has nominated Prof. RAMESHWAR RAO, Department of ECE, University College of Engineering, Osmania University as Convener, PGECET-2010 and Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University Prof.T.TIRUPATI RAO as Chairman, PGECET-2010.
In terms of orders issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Proceedings by A.P.
