following courses for academic year 2010-2011 offered in A.U College of
Engineering (A) through AUCET-2010
THROUGH ENTRANCE TEST: 5 Year Integrated Dual Degree B.E.+M.E./
B.Tech.+M.Tech. Courses in Computer Science & Software Engineering,
Computer Science & Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electronics &
Communication Engineering ; 2 Year Double Degree MS/M.Tech. Courses
in Software Engineering, Digital signal Processing and Tele Communication
Systems and B.Engg. in Aircraft Engineering (Twinning Program).
WITHOUT ENTRANCE TEST: M.E./M.Tech / M.Pharm / MBA Evening
Courses for locally employed personnel.
Application form and Information Brochure can be had from the Office of
the Principal, A.U College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam on payment of
Rs. 500/-. Applications can also be had by post from the Director by sending
a DD for Rs. 550/- (Rs. 50/- for postage) drawn in favour of The Director,
Directorate of Admissions, payable at Visakhapatnam before 25-05-2010
IMPORTANT DATES
1. Commencement of Sale of applications : 17-05-2010
2. Last date for receipt of filled in applications without fine : 02-06-2010
3. Last date for receipt of filled in applications with a fine of Rs. 500/- : 19-06-2010
4. Date of Entrance Test (Tentative). : 21-06-2010
M.E. / M.Tech. / M. Pharm. Evening Courses (for locally employed personnel)
(i) The M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm. Evening courses are meant for eligible locally employed
personnel.
(ii) Requirement for admission is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for M.E./M.Tech. and
M.Pham. Courses in the qualifying examination.
(iii) Admission into these courses shall be processed as per the following order of preference (i)
Qualified GATE / GPAT Score, (ii) Rank in PGECET-2010 and (iii) percentage of marks
obtained in B.E./B.Tech./B.Pharm.
(iv) Separate application has to be submitted for courses in each department if the candidate is
desirous of applying for courses in more than one department based on the eligibility criteria.
